yo!!! wanted to blog on wednesday ... but was either too busy or too lazy... xD

anw on wednesday we had this DCHEmpetition - paper making.. so me lavender and gee ping went to singapore poly ... and we are in the hercules category (which is something like trying to make the strongest paper)

heehee... so when i first came to school ... we still thought it was something like a lesson then we just go and learn... but then we realise we had to bring other ingredients... which we totally dun have!!!! we ended up almost pulling xin yi to help us buy the ingredients but then it was too late ler..

so we went to the competition ground empti-handed :) there were 5 schools in this competition lar... not some really grand thinggie... and we went to the the NTUC nearby and bought some veg with high fibres ( at least we thing it has high fibres) ... oooh and we bought cotton too...

so we went back and started making lar... we made three pieces of paper before going for lunch ( we ate at McDonald) i had a McSpicy, Gee had a McChicken and Lavender had this (i think if i remembered correctly) grilled tepanyaki chicken burger.... and guess what we queued for 45 minutes!!!!!

so after enjoying our lovely meal as we were starving like we haven't been eating for days.... we went back to the room ( by then we were stuffed) ... so we just sat down and chatted as we didn;t really care about winning... we ran out of ingredients too! yeah so we were like chatting away while the other groups were like busy lining the paper with fibres and cottong wool and blah blah blah...

so we took our paper and went to measure the weight... 1.) 1.2+g 2.) 1.6+g 3.) 3+g and the strength to tear no.1 was like 8.2+ and everybody were like woah woah woah!!!

we were like shocked too :) - :o

yep but then the third piece wasn't really dried then so we were like standing outside in the hot sun waiting for it to dry.... we were standing at the corridor of all the labs and everything... the corridor was quite long lar so i said something really stupid now that i think of it... " eh... we can lian4 our 100m dash here leh..."

Then gee was like ... yar hor... (i think) you go and measure lar... so i stood up and started walking towards the end of the corridor... but then there were some other hci guys behind at that time and i think they thought i was going to the lab so they followed me... i thought it was weird so i pointed to them that the room was there ... BUT THEY IGNORED ME =.=" ... so i walked all the way to the end . At first i wanted to use my arm to measure the length ... but it was quite embarrassing to do it so in the end i counted the steps i took.... and started turning back...

it was then that those hci guys realised and they started discussing where they THOUGHT the room was... and they started walking quickly... i was about to burst into laughter then ... muahahaha no offence to their fans:)

well so ... then we won first for the paper making competition thanks to the fact that one lump of fibre was in the middle of no where...haha:)

thats all... hais gee went to hk ler......
